Widget configuration is managed separately for every controller.

Before changing anything, confirm that the selected controller belongs to the website you intend to update.

Open the settings

  1. Sign in to SimplifyAccess.
  2. Select the required controller.
  3. Open Widget Settings from the navigation.
  4. Find the Settings card.

The card contains four expandable areas:

  • Accessibility Settings
  • Accessibility Profiles
  • Accessibility Plugins
  • Accessibility Tools

Accessibility Settings

Open Accessibility Settings to choose which individual controls are made available.

The list includes:

  • Audio
  • Font Size
  • Line Height
  • Remove Images
  • Highlight Links
  • Big Cursor
  • Letter Spacing
  • Contrast
  • Color invert
  • Saturation
  • Disable Animations
  • Dyslexia Typo
  • Read Aloud
  • Text Simplification

Use the switch beside an item to enable or disable it.

A setting should normally be enabled only when you are comfortable making it available on the connected website.

Accessibility Profiles

Open Accessibility Profiles to manage the prepared visitor presets:

  • Epileptic
  • Visual Impaired
  • Easy Language
  • Concentration
  • Smart Screen
  • Color Deficiency

Profiles can activate several settings together. Test each enabled profile because combinations can affect a website more noticeably than an individual setting.

Accessibility Plugins

Open Accessibility Plugins to manage the separately loaded capabilities:

  • Audio
  • User Guide
  • Language Selection
  • Easy Language
  • Code Fix
  • Keyboard
  • Read Aloud
  • Smart Contrast
  • Video Transcription

Some entries display a question-mark control with additional information. Beta labels identify functionality that is still being refined.

Certain capabilities also provide their own options. For example, Read Aloud has an expandable configuration control in addition to its main switch.

Because these capabilities add code or processing to the widget, enable them according to the needs of the website rather than turning on every item by default.

Accessibility Tools

Open Accessibility Tools to select the focused tools visitors can use:

  • Magnifying Glass
  • Page Structure
  • Simplified Page
  • Dictionary

Some tools include additional context. The Dictionary, for example, displays its configured language beside the tool name.

Save your changes

Select Save after completing the configuration.

The settings apply only to the current controller. They do not automatically change the widget configuration of other websites in the account.

Test the result

After saving:

  1. Open the connected website.
  2. Confirm that the widget still loads correctly.
  3. Check that the intended settings, profiles, and tools are visible.
  4. Test any newly enabled capability.
  5. Review the result on both desktop and mobile.

When several changes are required, configure them in smaller groups. This makes it easier to identify which change caused an unexpected result.
