Page-level accessibility and content workflows

Manage Every Page From One Site Workspace

Site Workspace brings your website’s discovered URLs, accessibility status, content readiness, and page-level tools together in one place.

Start with a site-wide view of priorities and coverage. Then open any page to review its processing status, accessibility audit, simplified content, plain-language version, and supported video transcriptions.

Website-level oversight

See What Is Happening Across the Website

Site Workspace starts with an overview of the selected website. It combines page discovery, audit status, content readiness, and recurring barriers with the complete inventory of known URLs.

This helps teams understand where coverage is complete, which pages require attention, and where content workflows still need to be started or reviewed.

Accessibility position
Review the current website score alongside processed pages, pending work, failed processing, and outdated audits.
Pages needing attention
Surface pages with lower audit results, detected findings, or larger numbers of affected elements.
Follow the availability of , simplified versions, plain-language content, and supported media transcriptions.
Identify accessibility findings that appear across several pages and may point to shared templates, components, or content patterns.

Move from overview to action

Each URL can be opened in its page workspace, where the audit, content versions, processing details, and available page actions are brought together.

Understand the Current State of Any Page

Opening a URL from Site Workspace reveals a page-specific panel. The overview tab summarizes what SimplifyAccess has found, processed, and prepared for that page.

Teams can check whether the page is ready for further work before moving into the detailed accessibility audit or content workflows.

Check processing status

See whether page content has been extracted and whether the relevant audit and content-processing steps are available, pending, or need attention.

Review accessibility and content readiness

Compare the current audit result with the availability of simplified content, plain-language content, and supported media transcriptions.

Confirm page and freshness details

Review when the URL was discovered, when it was last processed, and whether its accessibility audit is sufficiently current.

Continue into the relevant workflow

Move directly into the audit, simplified-content, plain-language, or transcription tab without losing the page context.

Turn Automated Findings Into Clear Remediation Priorities

The accessibility-audit tab brings the latest automated result, detected barriers, affected elements, and practical guidance together for the selected page.

Instead of treating the score as the final answer, teams can examine what changed, identify the most important blockers, and decide where to focus development, design, or content work first.

Understand the current result

Review the latest automated score alongside the number of failing checks, affected elements, and the current page-level risk indication.

See what changed since the previous audit

Identify newly detected issues, resolved findings, , and score changes without comparing separate reports manually.

Prioritize the most important blockers

Findings are organized with context such as impact, priority, affected elements, and estimated remediation effort.

Move from explanation to implementation

Open fix guidance and technical details to review suggested actions, relevant page elements, and available or markup examples.

AI-assisted content simplification

Review and Improve Simplified Content Block by Block

SimplifyAccess separates extracted page content into manageable blocks and places the original text beside an AI-assisted simplified version.

Content teams can compare both versions, refine individual blocks, regenerate selected results, and save reviewed text without replacing the original website content.

Work with the actual page structure

Review extracted headings, paragraphs, list items, and other supported content blocks in the order they appear on the page.

Compare original and simplified versions

Keep the source content visible while checking whether the simplified version preserves the intended meaning and important details.

Find unfinished or changed content

Search the extracted content and filter the workspace to focus on edited blocks or sections that have not yet been simplified.

Regenerate, edit, and approve

Request another AI-assisted suggestion where needed, make manual changes, and save the version your team has reviewed.

Simplified content is not the same as plain language

Simplification aims to make the existing content easier to read while retaining its meaning. The separate plain-language workflow provides a more structured alternative for lower reading levels.

Explore the Plain-Language Workflow

help_outline Simplification, regeneration, editing, and publishing options depend on completed processing, enabled features, and the selected plan.

Structured plain-language content

Create and Review a Clearer Page Version

The workflow creates a more strongly reworked version of the selected page, oriented toward lower reading levels such as A1–A2.

Teams can review the complete generated version, open a , refine individual blocks, and preserve the heading and content order needed to present the page clearly.

Review the complete page version

Read the generated plain-language content as one connected page before deciding which areas require editorial changes.

Edit structured content blocks

Open individual headings and paragraphs, update their text, and maintain a clear content sequence throughout the page.

Add, remove, or change blocks

Add content below an existing block, remove material that is no longer needed, or change the block type where the page structure requires adjustment.

Search and save the reviewed version

Search longer page versions, work through the content in order, and save the version approved by your team.

A separate workflow for a different content goal

Simplified content stays closer to the wording and structure of the original page. Plain-language content can reorganize and rewrite the information more substantially to support easier comprehension.

Explore Video Transcriptions

Supported video transcriptions

Review Video and Transcript Together

When SimplifyAccess detects supported video files on a page, it can process them in the background and create a text transcription for the page workspace.

The transcription tab presents the video player together with the generated transcript below it, keeping the media and its text alternative in the same page-level context.

Detect supported page videos

Supported video files embedded directly into the page are added to the page’s media workflow when they are discovered.

Process transcription in the background

Transcription can continue after the page has been processed, without requiring the user to keep the transcription tab open.

Review the video and text together

Play the detected video and read its transcript within the same tab, making it easier to compare the spoken content with the generated text.

Make reviewed text available to visitors

Completed transcriptions can support the visitor-facing content experience where the relevant widget features are enabled. Editing availability depends on the selected plan.

External iframe videos are not currently supported

Videos embedded through third-party iframe players, including services such as YouTube, are not currently included in this transcription workflow.
