Pages and Website Discovery

Does the pages list show every page on my website?

The pages list displays URLs currently known to the selected SimplifyAccess controller.

If a page has not yet been discovered or added to the controller's records, it may not appear in the list.

What happens when I click a page title?

The page's detailed view opens, allowing you to investigate its accessibility results, available content, and processing information.

You can also open the detail view using Open Details in the page's three-dot context menu.

What does the link icon next to the page title do?

The link icon copies the page's URL to your clipboard, not its displayed title.

This makes it easy to share the exact URL with a developer, content editor, or colleague.

Accessibility Audits and Scores

Why is a page marked as processed but its audit is pending?

Content processing and accessibility auditing are separate operations.

A page may have been processed successfully while its accessibility assessment has not yet been completed.

Does a 100% accessibility score mean the page is fully accessible?

No. A score of 100% represents the highest result within the performed automated accessibility assessment.

Some accessibility barriers require manual evaluation and cannot be reliably identified through automated testing alone.

Can I update the accessibility results for a single page?

Yes. Open the page's three-dot context menu and select Re-scan Accessibility.

This starts a new accessibility assessment for the selected page.

Content Processing and Publication

What is the difference between re-crawling and regenerating content?

Re-crawling retrieves updated content from your website.

Regeneration creates a new alternative content version using the available page content.

For example, if you have substantially changed the text on a page, you may need to re-crawl the content before generating an updated simplified or plain-language version.

Does generating simplified content publish it immediately?

That depends on your controller's publication settings.

With Publish automatically, generated alternative content can become available without individual approval.

When approval is required, generated content must be reviewed and approved before it becomes available through the relevant integration.

Are manual processing actions subject to limits?

Yes. Relevant manually triggered operations can count against your subscription's processing job allowance.

The available allowance depends on your subscription plan.

For further information, see the guide Understanding Usage and Resource Limits.
