The Contact Details section contains the customer information associated with your SimplifyAccess account.

This information is used for billing and invoice records. Complete and accurate details are therefore important, especially when a subscription is purchased for a business or organization.

Open Contact Details

  1. Sign in to SimplifyAccess.

  2. Select Account from the top navigation.

  3. Open the Contact Details section in the Account card.

The fields shown in this section depend on the selected user type.

Choose the user type

Use the User Type field to indicate whether the account is used privately or for a business.

The available fields may change depending on your selection.

Private account

Choose the private option when the subscription is purchased in your own name rather than on behalf of a company or organization.

You may be asked to enter details such as:

  • Full name

  • Residential or billing address

  • Telephone number

  • Contact email address

Business account

Choose the business option when the subscription belongs to a company, agency, institution, or other organization.

Business contact details may include:

  • Company name

  • Company address

  • Telephone number

  • Business email address

  • Other invoice-relevant company information

Use the legal company name and the address that should appear on billing records.

Enter the company name

For a business account, enter the full legal name of the subscribing organization in the Company Name field.

Avoid using an abbreviated trading name when the invoice must be issued to a different registered company name.

Enter the billing address

The address should be the address associated with the private customer or business receiving the invoice.

Check that it includes all required components, such as:

  • Street and building number

  • Postal or ZIP code

  • City

  • State, region, or province where applicable

  • Country

Accurate address information helps prevent incomplete or incorrect invoices.

Add a telephone number

Enter a telephone number where the account holder or responsible business contact can be reached.

Include the international country code when appropriate.

Add a business email address

For business accounts, the Business Email field can contain the address used for billing or company-related communication.

This can be different from the email address used to sign in to SimplifyAccess.

For example:

  • The account email may belong to the platform administrator.

  • The business email may belong to the accounting or billing department.

Save your contact details

After completing or changing the fields:

  1. Select Save at the top of the Account page.

  2. Enter your current account password in the confirmation dialog.

  3. Select Confirm.

The password confirmation is required because billing and customer records are sensitive account information.

When to update the details

Review and update Contact Details when:

  • The company name changes

  • The billing address changes

  • The account changes from private to business use

  • A different billing contact should be used

  • The business email address changes

  • An invoice contains outdated customer information

Changes generally apply to future billing records. Previously issued invoices may continue to display the information that was valid when they were created.
